Why does descent-world now have 2 shops (descent-world shop and descent-gear)?

We don’t have 2 shops. The descent-world shop is run by the people who have been behind descent-world since 1996. At the moment we only sell goods branded with the descent-world moniker.

descent-gear is solely owned and run by Mr. Simon “Superfly” Paton. Sure he writes for descent-world but his business is totally separate. descent-gear.com

How do I care for my descent-world clothes?

For all printed articles we recommend that you wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees celsius. Please do not use liquid detergents, do not tumble dry. Wash inside out and please iron carefully. Digitally designed colors can be “refreshed” after washing by gently ironing the reverse side. Caution: Do not use steam!!

Do you deliver free ouside of the UK & Ireland?

Sorry, due to the cost of overseas postage, we do charge a small shipping fee to cover our costs. Your delivery charge is added when you checkout.

I have ordered the wrong size/colour can I please exchange it?

Of course you can, simply email us within 7 days after delivery at shop@descent-world.co.uk with the details and we will advise you further. We do charge a small return fee to cover our admin costs and unfortunately we are unable to refund your return postage.

To fast track your replacement, we suggest ordering the exact item you want straight away, that way you can reduce the amount of time it takes to get to you. We will of course recredit your card or PayPal account when we receive your returned item.

Is nextday delivery available?

I’m sorry it isn’t available just now, we’re looking at developing speedy delivery services with our suppliers in the future. With most items being made to order they are usually delivered in less than 10 days. However please allow up to 28 days for delivery in some cases, when out of stock items are ordered.

We would like to stock some of your clothing in our shop, can we do a bulk order?
